All employers, supervisors, committee members and reps, workers are bound by the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act in workplaces. Its the legislative piece enforced by the Ontario Ministry of Labor, Immigration, Training, Skills, Development (MLITSD). Its no doubt the majority of people dont read it because it not simplified and offers much room for misinterpretation and subjectivity. The principle behind this course is to remove the challenges in locating information, in understanding how the terminology is used and how its applied, not only who it applies to. The best part is that the information we share is easily transferred no matter which regulation that applies to your workplace.

This course is a great resource for all parties in the Internal Responsibility System (IRS) and is delivered cleanly and uniformly. Get in the know and put the anxiety of not knowing what the Act and Regulations say behind you! Case studies and

There is no expiration for this certificate. We recommend a review every two years so new legislation can be discussed and understood, namely as an aid to employers and supervisors/ JHSC members.

  • Identify which regulations govern their place of work
