Ladder Safety, Selection, Inspection, Use, Carriage and Storage

This is a one hour info-session offered as a supplement to any course taken for an additional cost available at CWST or offsite at your facility. The cost per person is $50pp and includes a light handout and theory test upon completion. 

Minimum class sizes are 5 participants, and in the event enrollment minimums aren't achieved, the next available dates will be offered to clients. 

This course would best serve employers, supervisors, lead hands, foremen, JHSC members, and project managers. Ladders are a key leader for injuries in workplaces. Many incidents involving ladders are due to lack of inspection, being unfamiliar with the appropriate type ladder to be used in the application, and inability to identify actual/ potential hazards. In fact, many injuries can be eliminated altogether by reviewing approaches to work before the work commences. This course would serve as a great form of due diligence for employers, supervisors and would also serve as a strong refresher for OHS reps/ JHSC members.

Certification is valid for three years from date of issue.
